Celebrating the Town's Food Bank Partnership

In partnership with Men and Women United for Youth and Families and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, the Town has helped distribute 79,437 pounds of food for the 2024 calendar year, resulting in 66,198 meals for neighbors facing food insecurity. Thank you to our partners, faith leaders, and community volunteers for making this happen!
Introducing Our LFNC Fellow

The Town has partnered with the Lead for North Carolina Fellowship Program at the UNC School of Government, which sends new college graduates to local governments across the state to build capacity and tackle new projects.
